Missouri Attorney General Catherine Hanaway has reached a settlement barring the owners of Green Dragon, a St. Louis company, from selling kratom and 7-hydroxymitragynine (7-OH) products in the state, according to Missouri Independent, via KBIA. The deal also bars David and Matthew Jadwin from holding a financial stake in any Missouri kratom business, and follows similar settlements with other distributors.

The action comes as the DEA weighs a temporary rule placing concentrated 7-OH in Schedule I, a step officials say would not apply to natural kratom containing only trace amounts of the compound.
